Turkey’s Health Minister Criticizes Developed Nations at UN Assembly for Lagging in Human Values

Turkey’s Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca remarked at the 77th World Health Assembly General Assembly of the United Nations that countries claimed to be developed are falling short in humanitarian values.

During his address at the general assembly held in Geneva, Health Minister Koca highlighted how global health crises have exposed the deficits of some developed countries in terms of human values. Koca stated, “It has been observed that countries purported to be developed are very behind in human values.”

In his speech, Koca emphasized the need for fair and equal distribution of healthcare services, pointing out Turkey’s achievements in this domain. He underscored the importance of robust and resilient healthcare systems and urged all nations to prioritize human values in their actions.
