The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) has initiated a significant project aimed at supporting women farmers in Kosovo.
A total of 23 greenhouses, each measuring 100 square meters, have been built for members of the Vas Kutak Women’s Association. These greenhouse projects are designed to help women increase their income in the agricultural sector and strengthen their economic independence. By participating in this project, women farmers will have the opportunity to learn and apply modern farming techniques, leading to a more efficient production process.
The establishment of these greenhouses not only enables women to take on a more active role in social and economic life but also contributes to enhancing Kosovo’s agricultural production capacity. TİKA’s initiative is among projects aimed at empowering women and is expected to have positive impacts on both the local economy and society.
