CHP Leader Honors Heroine Nene Hatun in Erzurum
CHP’s Deputy Chairman for Public Relations and Media Affairs, Burhanettin Bulut, has honored Nene Hatun, a symbol of popular resistance in Erzurum against the Russian invasion. In his statement, Bulut highlighted Nene Hatun’s patriotism with the phrase, “My child can grow up without a mother, but not without a country.”
Burhanettin Bulut noted that Nene Hatun holds a unique place in the historical memory of the Turkish nation due to her courage and sacrifice. “I commemorate Nene Hatun, a symbol of popular resistance in Erzurum against the Russian invasion, with gratitude and mercy,” he said.
