ANKARA – Justice and Development Party (AKP) Ankara Deputy Fuat Oktay has issued statements regarding Norway, Spain, and Ireland’s decision to recognize the State of Palestine.
In his remarks, Fuat Oktay pointed out that these three countries have correctly identified the root cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Oktay stated that these decisions align with efforts to stop the massacre in Gaza and stand with those who are right and oppressed. He expressed hope that these moves would set an example for other nations aiming for peace and security for both Palestine and Israel.
Deputy Oktay emphasized that Turkey will continue to advocate for sustainable peace and stability, which can only be achieved through the immediate implementation of a two-state solution within the framework of United Nations (UN) resolutions.
