Turkey Sends Aid to Bosnia and Herzegovina Following Devastating Floods

Turkey is sending emergency aid to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has recently been struck by severe flooding. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the commencement of efforts to deliver aid aimed at meeting the region’s housing and nutritional needs.

**Aid Supplies Sent**

Erdoğan detailed that the aid supplies include 96 generators, 60 containers, 168 beds, 84 kitchen sets, 1,050 blankets, 1,130 food parcels, 2 tons of flour, 10 water drainage pumps, 2 water pallets, hygiene kits, air conditioners, refrigerators, and drinking water. These items will be distributed in the flood-affected areas to meet immediate needs.

**Messages of Support**

President Erdoğan extended his condolences to those who lost their lives in the disaster and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. He mentioned that AFAD, the Red Crescent, and TİKA are continuing their efforts to support the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina with compassion and sympathy.

**Outcome and Communication**

It has been reported that 18 bodies have been recovered following the floods, and search and rescue operations continue for a group of 40 people. The ongoing support from Turkey, as a friendly and brotherly nation, was emphasized alongside the emergency aid.
