Severe Floods Hit Bosnia and Herzegovina: Turkey Responds with Aid

Severe flooding in friendly and brotherly Bosnia and Herzegovina has caused extensive devastation. The Turkish President offered prayers for those who lost their lives and wished the injured a swift recovery.

Following the disaster, Turkey’s official aid organizations, including AFAD, Kızılay, and TIKA, have rushed to assist Bosnian brothers and sisters. It has been reported that 18 bodies were recovered in the Jablanica and Konjic cities, with search and rescue operations continuing for 40 missing individuals.

Turkey has commenced sending aid to address urgent shelter and food needs in the region. The initial aid shipment includes 96 generators, 60 containers, 168 beds, 84 kitchen sets, 1,050 blankets, 1,130 food packages, 2 tons of flour, and various hygiene products and water drainage materials.

The President conveyed his well-wishes to all Bosnians affected by the floods, emphasizing Turkey’s spirit of brotherhood and solidarity. The prepared aid will be delivered to those in need as soon as possible.
