Turkish Navy Participates in DYNAMIC MONARCH-24 Exercise in Norway
In Arendal, Norway, the TCG ALEMDAR, a Turkish rescue ship, took part in the DYNAMIC MONARCH-24 Exercise. The crew continued their training aboard the KV BARENTSHAV vessel, observing the ship’s capabilities and NATO’s submarine rescue system capabilities.
During the exercise, TCG ALEMDAR conducted two crucial training programs. First, the crew practiced delivering the “ADS-1200 Emergency Life Support Package to the submarine.” Second, they performed “TCB ISTAKOZ-1 ROV device operations and surface-supplied diving drills.” These sessions were closely monitored by Norwegian Navy divers.
The exercise highlights the importance of international cooperation and enhances coordination in submarine rescue operations. These training programs hold strategic significance for both Turkish and Norwegian Naval Forces.
