From September 9-11, 2023, Turkish Deputy Minister of National Defense Suay Alpay conducted an official visit to South Korea. During his visit, Alpay participated in significant events, including the Military AI Summit, the United Nations Command Defense Ministers’ Meeting, and the Seoul Defense Dialogue.
At the summit, Alpay delivered a speech highlighting the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the military domain. He emphasized Turkey’s contributions and advancements in this field, underlining that AI’s role in national and international security marks a strategic turning point.
