Defense Ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia Convene in Batumi for Trilateral Meeting

In a significant diplomatic event, the Defense Ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia gathered in Batumi for a trilateral meeting. The meeting was led by Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler and attended by Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani and Azerbaijani Defense Minister General Zakir Hasanov. At the conclusion of the meeting, a Trilateral Memorandum was signed.

Minister Güler emphasized the commitment to enhance cooperation among the nations, stating, “We reaffirmed our determination to elevate the cooperation between our countries, which share deep historical and cultural ties, to the highest level in every field.” He further reiterated their support for each other’s independence and territorial integrity.

Highlighting the historical and strategic importance of the Caucasus, Güler noted, “Our trilateral cooperation not only serves the common interests of our countries but also contributes to regional peace and stability.” He expressed his belief that this collaboration would pave the way for new partnerships in the future.

Concluding his remarks, Minister Güler conveyed his satisfaction with the discussions held with his esteemed counterparts and extended his best wishes for the health and well-being of the peoples of the friendly countries.
