Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler Attends Funeral of Former Gendarmerie General Commander Galip Mendi
Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler attended the funeral of the late former Gendarmerie General Commander, retired General Galip Mendi. The funeral prayer took place at the Ahmet Hamdi Akseki Mosque in Ankara.
In addition to Minister Güler, the ceremony saw the attendance of Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak, Navy Commander Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, Army Commander General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Air Force Commander General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, Deputy Minister Alpaslan Kavaklıoğlu, and Deputy Chief of General Staff General Kemal Yeni.
