İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu continues his efforts to transform stream beds into green spaces. As part of this initiative, the Rıdvan Yavuzbilge Life Valley project in Büyükçekmece is being implemented. Explaining the purpose of the project, İmamoğlu stated that stream beds need to be re-evaluated and converted into living and recreational areas.
The project will include green spaces, sports areas, walking paths, and various social facilities. İmamoğlu emphasized that such projects will improve the quality of life in the city and provide residents with the opportunity to spend time in a natural environment.
Rıdvan Yavuzbilge Life Valley, where the work is being conducted, aims to become one of Istanbul’s significant green areas with both its environmental arrangements and the amenities it offers. Mayor İmamoğlu underscored that all necessary steps will be taken to ensure citizens can make the most of these areas and that they are committed to the sustainability of the project.
