AK Parti’s Ömer Çelik Criticizes Yeniden Refah Partisi’s Local Election Tactics
AK Parti Deputy Chairman and Spokesperson Ömer Çelik has criticized Yeniden Refah Partisi’s approaches in the upcoming local elections. Çelik stated that there are attempts to mislead the public with unjust accusations, regarding some mayors’ willingness to join AK Parti’s service and project politics.
He pointed out that Yeniden Refah Partisi is not following an independent line in the local elections. Instead, the party is allegedly weakening AK Parti to provide an advantage to CHP. Çelik emphasized that this strategy needs to be discussed and confronted based on political principles.
Moreover, Çelik remarked that Yeniden Refah Partisi should not bring up concepts like political ethics and blackmail while approaching former AK Parti members with offers. He stressed that they should consider these concepts themselves first.
