Turkish Military Dominates 8th European Best Sniper Team Competition in Germany
The heroic Turkish Armed Forces have yet again demonstrated their excellence, this time in an international competition. From August 4-12, 2024, the “8th European Best Sniper Team Competition” was held at the Hohenfels Training Center in Germany, organized by the US Army Europe and Africa Command. Turkey’s teams secured the top positions, showcasing their prowess.
A total of 36 teams from 19 countries participated in the competition. Turkey was represented by two teams, one from the Turkish Land Forces Command and the other from the Special Forces Command. Both teams competed under the responsibility of the Mountain Commando School and Training Center Command, demonstrating outstanding success.
The Turkish Land Forces Command team clinched first place, while the Special Forces Command team secured second place. The final rankings of the competition are as follows:

2. Turkey (Special Forces Command)
3. Finland and USA
4. Greece
5. Belgium
6. Ireland
7. USA
8. Netherlands
9. Italy
10. Czech Republic
This superior performance by the Turkish soldiers has once again made the Turkish nation proud. We wholeheartedly congratulate our successful snipers and salute each of them with gratitude on behalf of our noble nation.
