Pakistani Naval Delegation Visits Turkey to Review Indigenous Submarine Systems
On August 1, 2024, Rear Admiral Shafquat Hussein Akhtar, Head of Projects for the Pakistan Navy, and his accompanying delegation visited Turkey. The delegation conducted inspections aboard the TCG PREVEZE and TCG PİRİREİS submarines at the Submarine Fleet Command.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the national sonar and combat management systems installed on these submarines, which are part of the Turkish Navy’s inventory.
