AK Party MP Fuat Oktay Criticizes Israeli Administration Harshly
Ankara MP from AK Party, Fuat Oktay, issued a strong critique of the Israeli administration. In a social media post, Oktay addressed a member of the Israeli government with a striking remark.
Oktay stated, “Acknowledging any member of the murderous Israeli government and responding to them is oppression, but if we must say something, let our response be like the words of Rumi.” Quoting Rumi, Oktay added, “We have an answer to every word. But we first check if it’s really a word and then the one who said it, to see if they’re worth responding to.”
Oktay’s statements are seen as a reflection of the frequent tensions in Turkey-Israel relations.
