High-Ranking Officials Pay Tribute at Anıtkabir
In a significant visit to Anıtkabir, Turkey’s Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak, Commander of the Turkish Navy Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, Commander of the Turkish Land Forces General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Commander of the Air Force General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, General Commander of the Gendarmerie General Arif Çetin, Chairman of the OYAK Board of Directors Retired Major General Mehmet Taş, OYAK General Manager Süleyman Savaş Erdem, and members of the OYAK Board of Directors gathered to commemorate a special occasion.
The visit marked the 64th Annual General Assembly of OYAK, and it was carried out with the utmost respect and ceremonial honor.
At Anıtkabir, the group observed a moment of silence at the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founding father of the Republic of Turkey, and laid a wreath to pay their respects. Following the ceremony, Minister Güler and the accompanying high-ranking officials signed the Anıtkabir Special Book.
According to sources from the Ministry of National Defense, the visit aimed to highlight OYAK’s institutional activities while also emphasizing the importance of remembering historical and cultural values.
