Vice President of Turkey Addresses Aftermath of Earthquake in Ezine, Çanakkale
Turkey’s Vice President, Cevdet Yılmaz, issued a message following the earthquake that struck Ezine, Çanakkale, and was felt in Istanbul and surrounding provinces. Yılmaz extended his wishes for a swift recovery to those affected by the earthquake.
In his statement, Yılmaz noted that the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and other relevant institutions continue their field scanning efforts. He also expressed his prayers for the country and its people to be protected from all kinds of disasters.
