CHP Deputy Chairman Burhanettin Bulut made remarks regarding Turkey’s position in Cyprus, emphasizing its significance.

Referring to CHP Chairperson Özgür Özel’s statement, “If we hadn’t taken steps towards normalization in Turkey, we couldn’t have presented that image in Cyprus,” Bulut highlighted the importance of this stance.

Özel further noted, “There will come a day when I will speak harshly to Erdoğan, but I will not disrespect the office,” underlining the value of state institutions. He added, “Maybe in one, at most three years, a CHP member will be sitting there. We must not undermine the offices and institutions,” indicating a need to be prepared for future changes.

These statements underscore the importance of Turkey’s political future and the respectful preservation of state institutions.
