AK Parti MP Fuat Oktay Addresses Significance of July 15 During Parliament Speech
ANKARA – AK Parti Ankara MP Fuat Oktay evaluated the current agenda during his speech in the Turkish Grand National Assembly on the occasion of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
Marking the sixth anniversary of the coup attempt, Oktay emphasized the importance of the nation’s resistance and its commitment to democratic values. He stated, “July 15 is a day that demonstrated our nation’s determination to protect democracy, freedom, and the independence of our country.”
Oktay’s remarks were made during a ceremony held in the TGNA to commemorate the anniversary of the coup attempt. In his speech, the MP highlighted the significance of democracy and national unity.
Pointing out that the importance of this historic day should not be forgotten, Oktay said, “We remember our martyrs with mercy and express our gratitude to our veterans. We must convey the value of democracy to future generations and sustain this awareness.”
Oktay also stressed the belief in democracy and the importance of acting together. He noted the necessity for Turkey to maintain its stance against both internal and external threats.
