Turkey and Greece Conduct Key Meeting to Enhance Confidence-Building Measures

A significant meeting took place between Turkey and Greece to discuss confidence-building measures. Vice Admiral Kadir Yıldız, the Commander of the Turkish Navy, along with his delegation, met with the Greek Naval Command in Athens, Greece’s capital. The meeting aimed to explore steps to strengthen defense cooperation between the two countries. Additionally, Vice Admiral Kadir Yıldız visited Turkish Ambassador to Greece, Çağatay Erciyes, to evaluate diplomatic relations.

These visits and discussions were conducted to ensure that relations between the two nations rest on a more stable and reliable foundation. The Turkish Ministry of National Defense conducts such interactions to enhance regional security and deepen cooperation across various fields.
