Turkish Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee Approves 12 International Agreements in 10th Meeting
The Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Foreign Affairs Committee held its 10th meeting in the 28th Legislative Period. During this session, the committee approved 10 international agreements signed with Qatar, Uruguay, Venezuela, Lithuania, Tunisia, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Mozambique, Uganda, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Additionally, two international agreements concerning the establishment of the Turkish Investment Fund and the UN Women’s Empowerment Unit offices in Turkey were ratified and sent to the General Assembly.
The proceedings were relayed by AK Party Ankara Deputy Fuat Oktay, who provided insights into the importance and implications of these agreements.
