Leader of İYİ Party, Müsavat Dervişoğlu, Visits Family of Slain Former Ülkü Ocakları Head Sinan Ateş
Müsavat Dervişoğlu, the leader of İYİ Party, paid a condolence visit to the family of Sinan Ateş, the former head of Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation and a lecturer at Hacettepe University. Dervişoğlu particularly met with Ateş’s mother, Saniye Ateş, and his sister, Selma Ateş Kazanç, expressing his condolences and pledging to fight for justice in this case.
During his visit, Dervişoğlu remarked, “This heinous assassination that took place in broad daylight in the capital is an indescribable act of cowardice. I share the grief of my colleague Sinan Ateş’s family. Our home is your home, our bread is your bread, and your cause is our cause.”
Additionally, Dervişoğlu emphasized that justice will be served, stating, “Either justice will be served, or hell will break loose!” This statement highlighted the İYİ Party leader’s determination to resolve the case and his support for the bereaved family.
