The Republican People’s Party (CHP) Deputy Chairman in Charge of Public Relations and Media, Burhanettin Bulut, has celebrated the 18th anniversary of Sözcü Newspaper’s foundation.
Highlighting the importance of press freedom and independent media, Bulut stated, “I celebrate the anniversary of Sözcü Newspaper, which has informed the public by pursuing the truth for 18 years. Here’s to many more free and enlightened years…”
Burhanettin Bulut emphasized the crucial role Sözcü Newspaper plays in providing accurate information to the public, underlining that a free press is a cornerstone of democracy. Stressing the importance of media that pursues the truth and raises its voice against injustices, Bulut remarked, “If Sözcü falls silent, Turkey falls silent,” signifying the necessity of protecting press freedom.
