Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş Highlights Economic and Strategic Importance of Turkish Businesspeople in Algeria
In a recent address, the Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, emphasized the significant economic and strategic importance of Turkish businesspeople in Algeria for both countries.
Minister Göktaş, accompanying Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, attended the 55th Algiers International Fair. As part of her visit, she also participated in the Turkish Business World Meeting organized by the World Turkish Business Council (DTİK).
During her speech, Minister Göktaş expressed her special connection to Algeria, where she previously served as an ambassador. She highlighted the deep and strong ties between the two nations, which she witnessed frequently during her tenure.
Minister Göktaş noted that the unbreakable bond between Turkey and Algeria has been further strengthened under the visionary leadership of both countries’ presidents. She expressed her pride in contributing to solidifying historical and cultural ties during her diplomatic service.
She emphasized the role of Turkish businesspeople in Algeria as a vital bridge in economic, cultural, and humanitarian relations between the two countries. She stated, “The presence of Turkish businesspeople in Algeria is of both economic and strategic importance for our countries. You are the ones building the bridge, fortifying our ties as our sole representatives.”
