Economy Coordination Board Conducts Comprehensive Review in Fifth Meeting of 2024
The Economy Coordination Board (EKK) held its fifth meeting of 2024, focusing on a range of pivotal economic issues.
Discussions included the National Emissions Trading System and the Border Carbon Adjustment Mechanism as part of efforts to achieve green transformation in the industry. Furthermore, a review of the current status of Investment Commitment Advance Loans (YTAK) was conducted.
During the meeting, an impact analysis study on employment incentives was shared with Board members. The latest developments in the “Digital Turkish Lira Project” led by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) and the anticipated “Social Investment Rating” for banks were also reviewed.
