CHP Deputy Chairman Burhanettin Bulut Addresses Worsening Unemployment Crisis in Turkey

CHP Deputy Chairman and Adana MP Burhanettin Bulut has made significant statements regarding the impacts of the economic crisis in Turkey, highlighting the increasing unemployment rates.

According to Bulut, over the past five months alone, 640,000 people have lost their jobs. This alarming statistic indicates that those who become unemployed are left without any income during these challenging economic times. Bulut emphasized the severity of this situation and called for the removal of current barriers related to unemployment benefits.

Another critical issue raised by Bulut was the need to review the processes and application requirements for unemployment benefits. “Unemployed citizens are trapped in a severe predicament due to their loss of income and ongoing economic difficulties,” Bulut stated, underscoring the importance of legal reforms in this area.

Bulut assured that the CHP would continue to advocate for addressing unemployment issues and increasing unemployment benefits. He urged the government to take immediate actions to alleviate the hardships faced by the citizens.
