31 Suspected ISIS Members Arrested in “BOZDOĞAN-46” Operation During Holiday
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the capture of 31 suspected members of the ISIS terrorist organization during the “BOZDOĞAN-46” operations carried out over the holiday period. Minister Yerlikaya reiterated the government’s commitment to fighting terrorism, stating:
“I want our dear nation to know that we will not give terrorists any respite. Our sole objective is to continue our fight relentlessly, with your prayers and support, until the last terrorist is neutralized.”
Operation Details:
The operations were conducted under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security’s Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Departments.
They took place in six provinces: Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Istanbul, Mersin, and Ordu. In these operations targeting the ISIS terrorist organization, 31 suspects were apprehended.
Minister Ali Yerlikaya commended the police officers involved in the operations, saying, “I congratulate our heroic police officers who carry out operations 365 days a year without interruption. May God protect them from harm. The prayers of our nation are with you.”
