Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek announced that the improvement in inflation expectations continues. Şimşek stated that the increased confidence and predictability resulting from their programs have positively impacted inflation expectations.
According to the June data, while the year-end inflation expectation continues to decline, the annual inflation expectation for the next 12 months has fallen to 31.8%, and the expectation for the next 24 months has dropped to 20.3%.
Minister Şimşek emphasized that as these expectations approach the targets, the disinflation process will accelerate further.
