Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek has announced plans to present a new tax package to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) soon. The package aims to enhance efficiency and fairness in the tax system while reducing informal economic activities.
Minister Şimşek stated that the draft tax work has been temporarily postponed to reassess all feedback from relevant parties. He emphasized the importance of careful consideration of regulations, especially those concerning the stock market, and highlighted that all stakeholders’ opinions are being taken into account.
