Manisa’s Jandarma Celebrates 185th Anniversary with Historic Event
Manisa, Turkey – The Manisa Provincial Gendarmerie Command’s JAK Unit Command celebrated the 185th anniversary of the Gendarmerie Organization with a meaningful event held on a historic bridge.
Situated in Maldan Village, Yuntdağı Region of Yunusemre district, the historic Stone Bridge (Kasım Bridge) hosted the significant celebration. Gendarmerie teams celebrated with enthusiasm by unfurling a large Turkish flag on the historic bridge, marking the 185th year since the organization’s establishment.
This special event, conducted on the historic Stone Bridge, highlighted the honorable and deep-rooted history of the Gendarmerie Organization, which has been serving Turkey’s security needs since 1839.
