In the Eastern Mediterranean, the TURGUTREİS-9 Exercise saw the participation of various naval assets, including the TCG HEYBELİADA corvette, TCG DOĞANAY submarine, and Pakistan Navy’s PNS BABUR corvette. The exercise was organized to strengthen the collaboration between the Turkish and Pakistani navies and enhance the maritime capabilities of both nations.
The ships involved in the exercise conducted a series of maneuvers and scenarios to test their maritime skills. According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, the exercise was completed as planned, and all set objectives were successfully achieved.
By conducting these training operations, the navies of Turkey and Pakistan are working together to fortify their operational readiness and demonstrate their joint commitment to regional maritime security.
