Ali Babacan Emphasizes Tourism Growth at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
Ali Babacan, the Chairman of the DEVA Party, delivered a speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Babacan highlighted the continuous growth of Turkey’s tourism sector since the late Turgut Özal. He emphasized the importance of marketing and branding in tourism, noting that Turkey has shown remarkable performance in this area. Addressing the significance of cultural and historical promotion, Babacan pointed out that the Russian Federation possesses substantial potential in this domain.
Babacan stressed that public-private sector collaborations and visa regulations are critical for success in tourism. He also mentioned that opening easy travel routes and ensuring security would contribute to the sector’s success.
