Chief of General Staff Metin Gürak Visits Albania for Defense Talks
Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak visited Albania to attend the Balkan Countries Chiefs of General Staff Meeting. During his visit, General Gürak was welcomed with a military ceremony by Albanian Chief of General Staff Major General Arben Kingji. Following the ceremony, the two commanders and their respective delegations held discussions. General Gürak also met with Albanian President Bajram Begaj and Albanian Defense Minister Niko Peleshi.
The visit underscores the importance of regional military cooperation and highlights Turkey’s commitment to fostering stronger ties with Balkan countries. The high-level discussions aimed at enhancing military collaboration and addressing regional security issues.
