CHP’s Deputy Leader Deniz Yücel Criticizes Trustee Appointments During Hakkari Visit

CHP Deputy Chairman and Spokesperson Deniz Yücel made significant statements regarding trustee appointments during his visit to Hakkari with a CHP delegation.

Deniz Yücel asserted that the trustee appointments are part of an organized project by the AK Party aimed at seizing control of municipalities. Yücel stated, “Trustee appointments are part of AKP’s project to take over municipalities.” He emphasized the need to strengthen local democracy and highlighted that appointing trustees in place of elected officials contradicts democratic principles.
