Turkish Special Forces Participate in NATO Drill “Anadolu Parsı-2024”

The Turkish Armed Forces’ Special Forces Command actively participated in the “NATO Special Operations Component Command Certification” as part of the “Anadolu Parsı-2024 Exercise” held from May 20 to May 31, 2024. The exercise included two Naval Special Warfare Teams from Izmir and Istanbul, as well as three specially trained personnel from the Special Forces Command Headquarters in Ankara.

Throughout the exercise, various military operations were conducted. These involved Special Reconnaissance and Intelligence Gathering, Opposed Boarding Operations, a Beach Reconnaissance and Direct Action operation within the Forward Force Operation framework, and a Demolition Exercise of Tanziri Radar. Additionally, there was an underwater assault on an enemy vessel located in a port.

This series of drills aimed to enhance the training levels of Turkish special forces and ensure their adherence to NATO standards.
