The leader of the İYİ Party, Müsavat Dervişoğlu, has openly criticized the government’s approach to managing state affairs. Dervişoğlu claimed that the government is operating with a mindset that treats the state as a mechanism for distributing loot in a tribal manner. He emphasized that various irregularities have occurred in state organs managed with this particular approach.

In his statement, Dervişoğlu said, “You have generals who engage in human trafficking with their official vehicles, prosecutors who order the removal of lawyers from courtrooms using a guard, and rectors who admit to pulling strings for appointments!”

These remarks have brought İYİ Party’s criticisms about the government’s management style back into the spotlight. Advocating the thesis that heroism is not synonymous with justice, Dervişoğlu stressed the need for a fundamental shift in the way the state is run.
