On September 27, 2024, a commemorative ceremony was held at the Kaptanıderya Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Monument in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, to mark the 486th anniversary of the Preveza Naval Victory and Naval Forces Day. TCG ANADOLU and Ships Salute the Monument
During the ceremony, TCG ANADOLU, along with 15 other ships passing through the Istanbul Strait, saluted the Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Tomb. This salute aimed to honor the values and history upheld by the Turkish Naval Forces.
