Turkey’s Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, along with Youth and Sports Minister Osman Aşkın Bak, bid farewell to 102 athletes from 18 disciplines who will represent the country at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics at Istanbul Airport.

During the farewell, Yılmaz expressed his heartfelt belief that the athletes will return with success stories from Paris, making the nation proud. He also extended his gratitude to everyone who provided comprehensive support and preparation for the athletes.

In his speech, he said, “By carrying our star and crescent on your hearts, I want you to feel the strong support of our nation that beats with you and to always remember that we are proud of you.”
